Earned Value Management

As an Authorised Training Organisation, we are approved by the APM Group to deliver EVM training, leading to the recently launched Earned Value Management Foundation qualification. This is the first formal UK qualification that provides a recognised and respected award for earned value specialists working across all industry sectors.

The syllabus for the qualification is based on the Association for Project Management's (APM) EVM Guidelines, and aims to recognise the candidate's knowledge of the core elements of earned value management and their practical application.

The foundation-level training options offered by us recognise that the qualification will appeal to existing EVM specialists and also those seeking to broaden their project management skills to a recognised standard through earned value training and formal professional accreditation. We offer two options that cover the EVM Foundation syllabus in sufficient detail for delegates to feel confident that they will be successful in the examination. For some, this will be revision and consolidation of existing knowledge and for others, an introduction to the subject.

EVM Foundation – Introduction Course	EVM Foundation – Accelerated Course
A two-day course aimed at those working within the project management field wishing to develop their earned value management skills to foundation level. This is an entry level course catering for all levels of experience, based around a comprehensive case study.	A one-day course aimed at experienced earned value management specialists requiring an appreciation of the formal syllabus and examination standards. This course is aimed at those who have practical experience of using EVM and only require a refresher on the techniques, an alignment of their knowledge to the APM EVM Guidelines.

EVM Foundation – Introduction Course

EVM Foundation – Accelerated Course

A two-day course aimed at those working within the project management field wishing to develop their earned value management skills to foundation level.

This is an entry level course catering for all levels of experience, based around a comprehensive case study.

A one-day course aimed at experienced earned value management specialists requiring an appreciation of the formal syllabus and examination standards.

This course is aimed at those who have practical experience of using EVM and only require a refresher on the techniques, an alignment of their knowledge to the APM EVM Guidelines.

During each course, ample time is set aside for delegates to undertake sample questions and practice their examination technique.

Pre-reading
It is recommended that delegates read the APM EVM Guidelines prior to attending the course. All registered delegates will be provided with a copy of these guidelines upon the receipt of a confirmed booking.

Examination
At the end of each course, delegates will have the opportunity to sit the one hour, 40 question multiple choice examination, which can also be taken at a later date at an APMG examination centre.
