Jan 2008 - John Flaherty joins OTC

John Flaherty has joined OTC Optima after a varied and challenging career in the Ministry of Defence where he led teams on a variety of projects including Ammunition procurement, Lynx Helicopter, Eurofighter Typhoon and the Future Aircraft Carrier (CVF).

John was the UK Project Manager for the Typhoon Training Systems and his most recent role was as the Aircraft Carrier Alliance Project Control Manager where he successfully led the project's Earned Value Management implementation.

John brings to the company a deep knowledge of Defence acquisition, a broad range of Project Management skills and practical experience of EVM. John is a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Association of Project Management.
